How it works

Renting in Ghana, made transparent

FieRent removes the guesswork from renting. Verified listings, QR-verified tours, digital agreements, and a public scam database keep both sides protected — from listing to move-in day.

Four steps to your new home

A simple, accountable process designed to protect everyone involved.

Step 1
Create your account

Sign up as a Tenant, Landlord, or Agent. Complete identity verification with your Ghana Card to build trust on the platform.

Step 2
Find or list a property

Tenants browse verified listings filtered by city, region, and budget. Landlords and agents post properties with EXIF-verified photos and digital addresses.

Step 3
Verify and connect

Every listing goes through verification. Tenants can book QR-verified property tours so they confirm the property they're seeing matches what's listed.

Step 4
Move in securely

Sign a digital rental agreement and complete a move-in checklist. Payments are tracked through the platform, so disputes can be resolved with a clear record.

Frequently asked questions

Is FieRent free to use?

Tenants can browse listings, book tours, and message verified landlords for free. Landlords pay only when their property is rented or when they opt into property management. See our pricing page for details.

How does FieRent verify listings?

Listings are verified through a combination of landlord identity checks, photo EXIF metadata analysis, and on-site QR-verified tours. Verified listings show a green badge on the listing card.

What is a QR-verified tour?

Each verified property has a unique QR code. When a tenant scans it on-site during a tour, FieRent confirms they're physically at the property — protecting against scam tours of properties the lister doesn't actually own.

How are scam reports handled?

Anyone can report a suspicious phone number, listing, or agent through our scam reports page. Verified reports are published to a public wall so the community can avoid known bad actors.

Does FieRent hold tenant deposits?

No. FieRent does not hold money on behalf of tenants or landlords. Payments are recorded for transparency, but funds move directly between the parties.
